Landscape Painting Machine aligns itself among other devices that aid in creating works of art such as Tinguely’s drawing machines and Roxy Paine’s drawing, painting, and sculpture machines. It uses direct, indirect and random variables from artist and viewer to document an event in the form of an abstracted, splattered landscape. Each painting archives the event in which it was created both on the canvas and on the space.
